If you have time, really worth following the various links, especially the one to the Seinfeld episode. We all need good laughs to make up for the pain we suffer and soon will suffer as rivals and enemies constrain America's future strategic and economic options.

Pushing Russia into the arms of China and blowing up the Middle East while strengthening Iran is a toxic cocktail for a nation that abandoned the Monroe Doctrine.
Public disclosures concerning Facebook do not yet appropriately address the differing sets of advertising customers and the economic/demographic/geographic aspects of their makeup. If their user base skews towards younger potential custuomers (those in households headed by adults 25 and under, or even 34 and under), then the collective and expected buying power of the community (concentrating on the U.S.) likely would disappoint potential prime advertsers. Outside the U.S., where they grow most rapidly, Facebook has yet to make money before income taxes--this is where they garnered a majority of their revenue in 2013. Management certainly has the ability to make fuller and more meaningful disclosures---good news is never hidden, while bad news frequently is.

Pay attention--this battle inside the United States is about to escalate dramatically---sadly, our President is on a fool's mission, particularly if he continues getting closer with Iran. Check your counter=party risk carefully. When was the last time you studied the financial statements (especially the footnotes) and the "risk factors" sections of any publicly traded securities you may own, and especially of financial institutions where you keep your hard-earned savings?
The biggest drama going on right now is not in Washington, D.C. but inside Saudi Arabia. I warned about this earlier--now I wonder even more about details of the deal the Obama Administration is trying to cut with Iran. We could be much closer to WW3 than experts assume and those who believe nominal dollar interest rates remain low are CLUELESS.

A treat to join John and Gordon and discuss the potential impact of a strong dollar--we did not dwell on larger issues such as the threats posed everwhere to human labor, though we did dwell on the reality that the global economy has too much debt and that "creative destruction" is long overdue.

Our President is now headed down a dangerous path, believing that he floats far above the law. This interview occurred before his disastrous press conference yesterday afternoon---as I shall explain in a column out later today in The Washington Times, he consistently reads tea leaves wrongly and there is no one inside of near the White House who can stand up to him, to Valerie Jarrett, and to his wife Michelle. Big trouble looms for America and for the wider world.
Do we actually trust Barack Obama, Valerie Jarrett, John Kerry, and Susan Rice to defend Americans against radical Islamic jihadists, Russia, Iran, China, and many rising threats? It will take two more years, at least, of hard work--but we must do all we can to engage the public so Americans can strive and thrive again, in safety.
